As the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 takes effect on 25 May 2018 (GDPR), we would like to inform you that your personal data are stored in our database and we process them as a Data Controller. The data were obtained:

  1. directly from you in connection with an agreement;
  2. from an entity contracted by our company to provide services to you;
  3. from a partner/third party cooperating with our company, who provided your personal data based on your consent.

3) Your data are processed on a voluntary basis and will be retained as long as necessary to perform the agreement with AiFO; afterwards, the data will be retained for the duration of the applicable statute of limitations for any potential claims involving AiFO, or until you object to the processing of such data, or, if you have given consent to data processing, until you withdraw it.

4) Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

  1. carrying out activities requested by you;
  2. performing an agreement concluded between AiFO and another entity for your benefit as a third party (Article 393 of the Civil Code);
  3. fulfilling AiFO’s legal obligations, such as issuing VAT invoices, correction invoices, notes, or bills;
  4. marketing AiFO’s products and services;
  5. informational purposes, such as providing newsletters and other information electronically, based on your prior consent;
  6. courtesy purposes, such as sending greetings for occasions like birthdays and name days, and offering gifts.
  7. organising work within the company through direct and individual contact via telephone;
  8. collecting and managing the aforementioned data in AiFO’s internal databases for more efficient data management;
  9. conducting the following types of market and opinion research: quantitative research, generic research (surveys and tests) or qualitative and opinion-forming research (personal interviews);
  10. handling contact and product inquiries.

5) Your personal data will be shared solely with processors who have entered into a data processing agreement with us, in accordance with Article 28(3) of the GDPR.

6) You have the right to request access to your data, as well as to rectify, erase, restrict processing, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to object to the processing.

7) If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority.
